Keys to STEM Writing (GWF)
Facilitator: Jean Domenech
Research articles are the medium of choice for researchers to communicate their findings. This writing clinic will highlight some of the most pressing challenges STEM students face their first year in graduate school: how to draft a scholarly paper, how to write a compelling and cohesive argument, and how to apply story structures to scientific articles. Participants will improve their understanding of the writing process, from abstract concepts of flow and structure to the nitty-gritty of editing and revision.
